The Chloe Ethel Leather Tote – what can I say? I wish this bag were a house so I could live in it, or a person so it could be my best friend who would let me borrow clothes, if it were a puppy I would adopt it, name it ChicaBoom-Boom, and let it sleep on my bed. But in reality it is an astoundingly beautiful bag that, sadly, I can only admire from afar. The pinky mauve leather was the perfect choice and the over-sized pleats and hardware are big enough to add character to a purse of this size.

Marc Jacobs delivers yet again with the Pretty Nappa Lil Lissy, part of his lower priced Marc line. From its supple quilted leather in bright grape to its unusual shape, it’s a true standout. The ties along the strap and the large side pockets lend it a unique quality for sure. If there’s any drawback, it’s in the small size strap. I prefer something just slightly longer. The price, though, is fabulous! Available for $264.60

Definitely not for the timid, the awesome Donna Karan Jewelry Chandelier Pouch Bag makes an instant statement as soon as it enters the room. The rocker-worthy bag, shaped like a teardrop, is embellished with all kinds of gold, silver and rhinestone-encrusted chains, lending it a downtown-chic vibe. Something as fashion-forward and bold as this requires confidence and a great outfit to match, so pull out all the stops and you can guarantee a head-turner of a night.

Looks like “Brothers and Sisters” star Balthazar Getty may not be getting back with his wife after all - at least not being caught red-handed out on the prowl in London with former (?) mistress Sienna Miller. As for Ms. Miller? She may be looking a little coy, but she’s also looking pretty chic, wearing a classic cream coat, cowboy boots, and - ooh - a petite Balenciaga Motorcycle purse. So much hotter than a diaper bag, we guess.

Oh you just know that Brad or Taylor is about to be reamed out for not getting Rachel Zoe her coffee. The star stylist and ringmaster of Bravo’s “The Rachel Zoe Project” hit the streets in pursuit of caffeine. Normally I’m not a fan of the fur vests and Mrs.Roper muumuu dreses, but I dig Zoe’s all-black ensemble and I REALLY dig her black Chloe Paraty handbag. It’s you know…BANANAS.

Choosing the bag of your dreams can be a tough one, but if your goal is something slightly more specific - say, celebrating the 400th anniversary of New York City - then you’re in luck. The new Kate Spade Uptown/Downtown Tote pays homage to the city in an entirely unique, cute way. With tons of A-list fans, and cute designs that are truly functional, I don’t need to tell you all that much about one of Purse Page’s favorite designers. However, I am happy to tell you that those of you in the Washington D.C. area are finally getting the attention you deserve. I know that most of the sample sales we list are either in NYC or the West Coast. The folks at Rebecca Minkoff have noticed how many of you stylish citizens don’t always have the chance to shop in these cities and is offering heavily discounted merchandise to you this weekend.

Is it just me, or does this Fendi Ombre Logo Basket Tote have “Samantha Jones” written all over it? (No wait- it’s got “Fendi” written all over it.) While I could definitely see our lusty logo-loving New Yorker falling for this flashy Fendi, I’m not sure I can.
